Since the release of his Hot Debut single "The Way You Whine “ in 2011,he has become one of the most relevant and sought after artists within and outside Nigeria due to the unprecedented success and acceptance of the heavyweight single. The song has continued to enjoy massive rotation on the radio and widely popular on the club scene and it has been described by highly respected entertainment journalists, music lovers and critics as the most danceable, popular and durable song ever released by any emerging artiste in Nigeria.” It’s not like i didn't think people were going to like The way you whine record, but I never thought the love and acceptance was going to be huge I’m so humbled by the success and I am grateful to my fans and everyone for their continued support" says Dpzle.
This Lead City University Ibadan graduate of computer and information science is not the type to rest on accolades instead, He believes the success of his first single is a call to work and he is indeed working harder to make sure that his music is on every music lover's top play lists. He teamed with popular Godfather Production in South Africa to shoot a Video for "The way you Whine" DPzle who's in his early 20's, discovered his passion for music at about the age of nine, started playing drums in the church and as he grew older he learnt how to play the keyboard,  Singing to him comes naturally. His dream of becoming a singer was not accepted easily by his parents who were more interested in him focusing on his academics but after obtaining his first degree, they knew his music ambition was unstoppable.

Dpzle's early exposure to the works of legendary traditional musicians such as King Sunny Ade (KSA), Ebenezer Obey, Kwam 1 and foreign influences like R.kelly , Keith Sweat, Mack Morrison and gospel acts like Fred Hammond ,Kirk Franklin, Kurt Carr and so on formed a solid foundation for his music career was built on which has also shaped him into a good song writer and a very creative singer. His inspiration is drawn from the positive results of our daily struggles. "I just want people to be happy I want my music to change the listener's mood whenever it comes on i want people to dance and delete soberness off their system." He divulges.
Currently, this industry grinder is working on gassing us the scene with more anthems and hits. Dpzle is down to earth as a musician but apart from his talent, his charming looks and charisma works for him which explains why he is one of the very few emerging stars that has performed at major music industry concerts and events in Nigeria and beyond. from the Annnual Mo'Hits Koko Concert 2011 edition to MTN Funlink Concert, Dynamix all youth Awards in December 2011,Harp Rhythm Unplugged Ibadan 2012, O.B.O Concert 2012 the list goes on.
