Students of the University of Lagos, UNILAG, are protesting the rising cost of commodity in the university.
The protest began peacefully on Sunday, after the president of the Law Faculty students led some students to march around the campus.
The protest continued on Monday with higher student turnout. The protest, ongoing as at 8:30 a.m, saw the students forcefully seal shops in hostels.
To douse the tension, the school’s management has invited some student leaders for talks.
